Be it remembered that the court of Common Pleas within and for the county aforesaid held at the courthouse in the town of Gallipolis on the twenty first day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and fifty before the Honorable William V. [___], President judage and Moses A [Mattham] & Franklin [C__] associate judges. The administration of John Rickabaugh Executor of Adam Rickabaugh deceased was [____] for examination and if [____] to the court [__] notice of the filing and account had been given in the Gallipolis Journal a newspaper printed in the town of Gallipolis in the county of Gallia and in [___] circulation [___] for four consecutive [___] previous to the present term of this court whereupon the said account was examined by the court and compared with the vouchers accompanying the same and found correct as therein by statute and the same is ordered to be recorded.

On this the 18th day of October 1850 formally appeared before the Subscriber Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas for said county the written [___] John Rickabaugh and [__] [___] that the foregoing account is correct and that the payments accounted have been made to Jefferson Donnally for $7.50 and to Philip Wolffenbarger for one dollar __ [__] made as Stated but the receipts of Donnally have been lost and that he took no receipt from Wolffenbarger.

The undersigned one of the heirs at law of Adam Rickabaugh [__] excepts to the account as exhibited by John Rickabaugh Executor of the last will and testament of the said Adam Rickabaugh desd for the following reasons. Viz: The [___] exhibited as a voucher for $75, signed by Peter Rickabaugh dated December 30, 1837 is false in point of fact. The said John Rickabaugh having never paid the amount therein specified or any part thereof.
